Male Impotence Is Becoming A Common Problem |

When a man finds difficulty or unable to maintain the erection during an intercourse is defined as Male impotency. It is medically called Erectile dysfunction. The incidence of impotence increases with age. Due to improper erection, a man find low self esteem and emotional disturbance that will affect his relationship with his partner.
Vardenafil, Tadalafil Softabs, Sildenafil Citrate Softabs, and Sildenafil Citrate Gel are the commonly used drugs to treat male impotence.
It is not a disease by itself but it is caused by some secondary conditions which caused by the primary causes. It is a side effect and not disease. There are four main primary cause of the disorder. The first cause is psychological which is due to stress present in job, an unsound marriage, financial worries etc. disease of blood vessels, drug abuse, diabetes, pelvic surgery, endocrine problems, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, trauma etc are some of the physical cause for impotence. Sometimes both psychological and physical are present. Sometimes the cause of the disorder has unknown origin. Smoking, antihypertensive medicines and antidepressants also lead to impotence.
Arteriogenic impotence where the arteries does not supply enough amount of blood to penis to cause an erection. This is mainly seen in elderly, diabetic patients and those with high blood pressure and injury to the genital region result in blockage of artery. The blood leakage occurs in the penis vein and prevents the development of a strong erection, this condition is termed as Venogenic. This type of impotence is very common. The nerves in the penis are damaged it leads to improper impulses to activate the arteries and veins to carry the blood to penis leading to the condition called Neurogenic Impotence. Other types include Endocrinologic, mixed type and Psychogenic impotence.
Proper counseling and sex therapies, use of medicines, hormone replacement therapy using testosterone hormone, External vacuum devices, penile injections, penile implants and micro surgery are done to treat the impotence.
